Just recently, the government announced its intentions to make concessions by partnering with the National Bank for Economic and Social Development. During an interview, the president of Trata Brasil, Edison Carlos explained a few things about the initiative while expressing his confidence that the services offered will go through major transformations with respect to management, structure-wise, and in the resource areas – as reported by Felipe Montoro Jens, an infrastructure project specialist.
According to Edison on executives.findthecompany.com, 90 percent of Brazil’s basic sanitation services are performed by public power. While noting that the state organization serves approximately 70 percent of the users, Edison argued that the presence of private project does not justify public exclusion because the two types of management can complement each other. He also added that the government organization has extensive experience that can be leveraged through its partnership with the private firms.
Felipe Montoro Jens mentioned water wastage as one of the major things affecting the flow of financial resources. While responding to this, Edison explained on odebrecht.com that private enterprise possesses more resources than state organizations, and the more reasons it is a crucial ally in the war against water wastage. Edison also cited advancement of technology as yet another strategy that can help to prevent wastage of water especially if more investments are made in the sewage networks.
While commenting about the equality of private and public organizations with respect to their ability to offer adequate services at http://www.bloomberg.com/research/stocks/private/person.asp?personId=113457657&privcapId=45984138&previousCapId=45984138&previousTitle=Energipar%20Capta%C3%A7%C3%A3o%20S.A., Edison said that the efficiency of a company is not measured by its administration – but rather by its ability to meet the needs of the users, and manage costs effectively.

As a beauty blogger image is everything, I would not be able to give tips or accurately review products if I show up everywhere I go with a style that screams hot mess, some pull it off though not me. So when my hair started to turn into a frizz ball and mornings became less of a pleasant experience and more of a battle against the frizz, I knew I had to do something quick. Let me preface this by saying my hair was not always this way, before I left behind the beautiful sunny beaches of Hawaii, my hair felt almost as soft as the falling waterfalls that dotted my backyard. But after a move to a new place and an introduction to low humidity, the hair I was once proud to show off had become permanently frizzy and banished to whatever beanie or hat I could find.
That was until I tried WEN by Chaz, the cleaning conditioner made by celebrity stylist Chaz Dean. I was more than happy to jump on the opportunity to try a product that was designed, used, and vouched for by celebrities so I decided I had nothing to lose but time so I gave it a try.
The first week was a learning experience making the switch to only using a conditioner instead of my regular shampoo but after I got used to my new routine it was simple. Surprisingly enough after one week, I started to notice a change in my hair, no more battles with an untameable beasts in the morning and finally a softness returned.
It wasn’t until the second week though was I completely sold on the organic and naturally sourced cleansing conditioner. That’s when the compliments started pouring in.
After one month, I love my bottle of WEN by Chaz and don’t see myself ever going back.

Dick DeVos and his wife Betsy have really put in a lot of work in not only business, but philanthropy and public service and have been one of Michigan’s most well-known education reform activists. The DeVos’s have also given their money to local hospitals, museums, libraries, universities, churches and other special non-profit venues. They’ve never felt it necessary to disclose how much they’ve given over the years, but in light of Betsy DeVos’s nomination to Secretary of Education they finally decided to make the amount known, an estimated $139 million in lifetime giving. That amount is largely exclusive of political campaigns they’ve contributed to over the years.
Dick DeVos is the Chairman of The Windquest Group, a company he and Betsy started back in 1989. This company specializes in investments in alternative energy, locally-owned retail shops, clean water bottling and even recently the acquisition of Coppercraft Distillery in Holland, MI. Prior to founding The Windquest Group, Dick worked at his family company, Amway Corporation. This company was co-founded by his father, Richard DeVos Sr. who is also the current owner of the NBA’s Orlando Magic. Dick worked at Amway for over 20 years starting off as a department manager, then later moving up to vice president in 1984 and eventually CEO in 1993. Dick stepped down from Amway and turned the company over to his brother Douglas in 2002.
Dick and Betsy started the Dick & Betsy DeVos Foundation in 1992 through which most of their giving has been channeled. Their giving has primarily been for scholarship programs to help underprivileged families afford private schools, but they’ve also helped fund charter school aid as well. They have even established a charter school that’s open to the public called the West Michigan Aviation Academy. This school is hosted at the Gerald R. Ford Airport and has a specialized curriculum in aviation and aircraft mechanics.
Dick was a leader of Grand Action Committee, a board of business and civic leaders that led a commercial and entertainment venue building project for downtown Grand Rapids. Dick and Betsy also helped the Kennedy Center complete its Art Institute building project with a donation over $20 million, and the institute was promptly renamed in their honor. Dick and Betsy are staunch Republican Party supporters with Betsy having served as the Michigan Republican Party chairperson, and Dick ran for governor in 2006 though he came up short. They also led the effort that saw right-to-work legislation get passed in 2012. Dick has given to conservative think tanks and institutions such as Heritage Foundation, the Constitutional Foundation, Hudson Institute and Action Institute. He’s also the author of a 1998 New York Times bestseller on constitutional ideology titled Rediscovering American Values.
